Our Mission
The Ohio Valley Health Center provides high-quality health care to uninsured and underinsured individuals in the Ohio Valley, regardless of their ability to pay.
Our Vision
To be a recognized leader in providing high-quality health care for those in need in the Ohio Valley.
History Of OVHC
In May 2005, a group of concerned individuals formed a committee and decided to open a health center that would benefit the medically uninsured of our county. Less than a year later, on March 13, 2006, we opened our doors to those from our county who were struggling without health care or any medical insurance. Within a short time we also joined the Ohio Association of Free Clinics to assist us in serving our clientele. We are a 501c3 organization providing health care services to medically uninsured individuals, supported financially through private donations, gifts and grants.
