As the year ends, we reflect on the lives of our patients and are grateful for your continued support, which makes our mission possible. Here is the inspiring story of Mr. Dorian Livingston, a patient who has thrived under our care.

Dorian, a former truck driver, was hospitalized in November 2020 for a craniotomy and AV shunt placement due to a cerebral abscess. He spent months in recovery, and in January 2021, he began his treatment at Ohio Valley Health Center. At that time, Dorian relied on a walker, struggled with memory and speech issues, and managed chronic diabetes and high blood pressure.

Through regular visits, Dorian received physical therapy, medication, and continuous support from Dr. Denise Lucas and our team. Over time, his condition improved: he regained his independence, his speech and memory improved, and he brought his diabetes and blood pressure under control. He also made lasting changes to his diet, further enhancing his health.

Today, Dorian lives an active, healthy lifestyle, and one of his proudest achievements is learning to ride a bike. His journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and comprehensive care. Thank you for being a part of his success!
