The Ohio Valley Health Center is thrilled to unveil the theme for its upcoming 18th-annual fundraiser gala, scheduled for April 28, 2024. This year’s event, “And They’re Off…the Race for Hope, Health, and Healing,” promises to be an unforgettable evening of elegance, spirited celebration, and philanthropy.
Inspired by the Kentucky Derby, the gala will be held at St. Florian Event Center in Wintersville. The festivities will commence with a Champagne hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner, an engaging program, and the traditional live auction at 6 p.m. Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme by donning their finest derby attire, complete with hats and bowties, for a night of style and sophistication.
This formal affair, with tickets priced at $65 per person, is a significant fundraising event for OVHC. Sponsorships are also available, and the deadline for ticket purchases is April 19. To secure your spot or for more information, please visit www.ovhealthcenter.org or call (740) 283-2856.
The gala aims to honor individuals who have made substantial contributions to OVHC and demonstrated unwavering dedication to the community. The event plays a crucial role in supporting OVHC’s mission of providing high-quality healthcare to the medically uninsured and underinsured individuals and families of the Ohio Valley, regardless of their ability to pay.
“This year’s gala is about highlighting the strides we’ve made in fulfilling our mission. We’re racing to expand our team of providers, broaden our patient base, enhance our programs, and upgrade our equipment to offer even more comprehensive services. With each step forward, we’re bringing hope, health, and healing to our community,” said Ann Quillen, Executive Director of the Ohio Valley Health Center.
The gala’s chairs, Rosann and Rick Trimmer, along with committee members Betty Ferron, Susan Tarr from A&B Sunset Pharmacy, Alisa DelGuzzo of Capital Healthcare Network, and Chris Orris of Valley Hospice, have dedicated their time and effort to organize the event.
