Executive Director, Ohio Valley Health Center
The Ohio Valley Health Center (OVHC) is seeking qualified candidates for its Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and administration of the OVHC. This position provides strategic direction and oversight of clinic operations, staffing, finances, and programs to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality healthcare services. All clinic organization, staff, and operational functions are under the direction of the Executive Director.
The applicant must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in health care related field, health services administration, or business management required. A clinical certification preferred but not required. Experience in healthcare or nonprofit leadership and grants management preferred. Strong knowledge of health care operations, financial management, policy development, and organizational leadership is essential. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors. It is essential to have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the staff, providers, Board of Directors, and the community. Above all, applicants must have a passion for providing healthcare to uninsured and underinsured individuals and families throughout the Ohio Valley—regardless of their ability to pay.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. A valid Ohio Driver’s license and successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
