We’re excited to introduce Nyasha DiLeonardo, a caring and skilled registered nurse, to the Ohio Valley Health Center family! Nyasha was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and after finishing school, she worked as an air ticketing agent for Virgin Atlantic Airlines. In 2014, she made the big move to the United States and beganstudying at Eastern Gateway Community College before transferring to Franciscan University of Steubenville. Nyasha worked hard to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She hasn’t stopped there! Nyasha is currently working towards becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Nyasha joined OVHC in the Fall of 2023, and we are so happy to have her! She leads our Colorectal Cancer Screening Program and takes care of patients at the clinic. She also runs our HomelessShelter Outreach Program, helping bring health services to those in need. On top of that, she assists Dr. Nandra with patient heart health treatments.
Nyasha is a proud mom of two daughters and has been happily married for over 10 years. She and her family live in Steubenville and love being part of the local community. We’re thrilled that Nyasha is part of the OVHC team!
